HOT START: Managed by the microprocessor in WECO inverters according to the welding current, hot start consists of a rise in the initial current to allow for better striking of the electrode.
ARC FORCE: Regulated by the microprocessor according to the welding current, arc force entails a rise in current to facilitate detachment of droplet transfer.
ANTI STICK: The WECO anti stick function causes the welding current to be blocking in the event that the electrode should stick to the piece.
TIG
LIFT ARC: All "E" Series inverters (and as an option in the "T" Series inverters) use touch- and- lift tungsten start. This function is available in both 2- stroke and 4- stroke in the "T" Series.
HIGH FREQUENCY: High frequency start is available in the "T" Series inverters. (Lift Arc remains as an option). This function is available in both 2-stroke and 4- stroke in the "T" Series.
PULSE: Pulse allows the current to be pulsed between values of amps selected, mitigated by determined or selected frequency (Hz). WECO inverters have pulse available in all models of TIG inverters.
In the "E" Series the pulse has the frequency and current settings factory set according to the welding current.
In the "T" Series the pulse can be varied in terms of base current, peak time, base time and frequency (5- 250 Hz).
SLOPE UP/ DOWN: Available for all WECO "T" Series machines the slope function allows the machine to increase or decrease current to a operator selected time.
PRE-AND POST-GAS: Available for all WECO "T" Series machines the pre-and post-gas is adjustable.
